On Mondays and Tuesdays, at lunchtime, the extraordinary Italian chefs of the Contemporary Italian Chef format will be on the stage: the best in fine dining in two very delicious events.

 
After the Costardi brothers, Norbert Niederkofler will be the second protagonist of the format: he is the chef of the award-winning St. Hubertus restaurant, inside hotel Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano, in Val Badia (Bolzano). He was sort of born in the trade: his family runs a small hotel in Alto Adige where Norbert, born in 1961, learnt the basics. But he always loved to travel, so he grew up as a chef with a globe-trotter attitude: first the catering school in Tegernsee, Germany, then the internships and collaborations in Italy and abroad, for example with Eckart Witzigmann in Munich, David Bouley in New York and Nadia Santini at Dal Pescatore.

In 1993 he moved back to Alto Adige, and since 2004 he has been working inside the Rosa Alpina Hotel & Spa; St. Hubertus opened in 1996 and received its first star four years later. From the summer of 2012 in this restaurant they use only mountain products, following a project called "Cook the Mountain".
