Franco Pepe will be today’s protagonist at Identità di Pizza, the weekly space dedicated to the world of pizza, which moves from Identità Milano right inside Expo Milano 2015, every Wednesday afternoon. From Caiazzo (Caserta) Pepe manages to unite the great tradition from Naples and Campania with the innovative spirit lingering over other areas of Italy in the best possible way. A great master, coming from a family in the business (his Pepe in Grani is only a few steps from his grandfather Ciccio’s oven), he’s not scared of novelties: «I agree with Bottura; we should treasure tradition while looking at innovation».
Fine dining at Expo 2015 goes under the brand of Identità Golose thanks to Identità Expo, the event – created in collaboration with S. Pellegrino – which for six months will summon great Italian and international chefs to Milan for a unique, extremely elegant temporary restaurant. There will also be lessons, cooking shows, meetings, demonstrations... All this animating a rich programme of events (soon online), the result of the organisational effort and prestige of Identità Golose.
