Chris Fischer, born in 1980, is a chef, farmer and author. He has cooked in the kitchens of the most influential chefs and restauranteurs of the last 30 years including Mario Batali, Alice Waters, Keith McNally and Fergus Henderson. His last post as chef at the Beach Plum Restaurant brought him many accolades including features in every major food and lifestyle magazine. As a farmer, Chris runs his families 5 acre vegetable farm in the center of Chilmark which is located on Martha's Vineyard. "The Beetlebung Farm Cookbook" was published by Little Brown and Co. in June of 2015. It is an ode to Chris's grandfather and his family that has lived on Martha's Vineyard for over 350 years. The book was awarded the James Beard Award for "Best American Cooking Book 2016".
