Giulia Liu has one of the most luminous characters in the restaurant scene of Lombardy. Any dining room would profit from this: and this already makes half of the job. However, Giulia also comes from the Liu family, which in the space of just a few years have created a small empire of fine “ethnic” dining. We love Gong, first of all because of what we’ve mentioned above. And then because the restaurant is large, with high ceilings and beautiful. And, finally, because it’s the best place in town for Oriental fusion cuisine; one of the points of reference for a cosmopolitan Milan that is not just a part of the collective imagery but a concrete truth as well.
