The specialty of Torino are not trattorias, nor its great restaurants (though there are exceptions): it’s those places where you eat good food, and accessible to almost every wallet. Contesto Alimentare is a perfect of this category.
There’s a small, white and bright dining room, overlooking a rather calm street, seating very few guests. The menu is short. One of the partners, Matteo, is in the dining room, he’s knowledgeable about wine and he smiles. The other partner is in the kitchen, Francesca: she cooks out of passion, with the love and dedication of a friend.
