Berberè Castel Maggiore was the first restaurant opened by the Aloe brothers before becoming main players of the gourmet pizza wave and of a renewed attention towards one of the icons of Italian cooking. Although it’s located in a mall, the restaurant is still welcoming, and the staff is always thoughtful and smiling. Not to be missed: the Margherita (tomato, fiordilatte and basil) as well as some pizzas highlighting a few Slow Food presidia such as Coppa di Mora, stracciatella, fiordilatte and orange oil. On the wine list you’ll find a great attention to the territory and the region.
