Totally refurbished in 1999, Maffei’s family home dates back to a distant past. This old maso, built at the foot of the mountain in 1899, a century later became a luxury destination and first «biohotel» in Trentino to follow all the sustainability and healthiness standards.
The food has always had an essential role in its story, and the owner Giacomino Maffei devoted his «Stube» to fine dining. The chef’s cuisine stands out for its classy intertwining between North and South, from the Oxtail tortelli alla vaccinara with truffles and Trentingrana to the Danube salmon with a sauce of Trentodoc and smoked whiskey.
