Here’s a nice story: in 1972, Karl and Marine Kofler built a garni right where the Farmermaso’s cross used to be. In 2008 their children Manfred and Stefan took over and reshaped the place in their own image, turning it into a restaurant.
Manfred is in charge of the food, his brother takes care of the dining hall. They took an unusual road: while keeping a strong connection with the territory (you will find extraordinary whitefish and Passiria trouts, or the deer hunted by their dad Karl in Austria) they offer a huge seafood option, with daily supplies from all the main markets in Northern Italy…
