Our exploration of the culinary offer in Milan continues: after analysing many typical cuisines, from Milan’s to those from around the world, from vegetarian cuisine to those based on meat and fish, today we cover a selection of restaurants which, on top of a good menu, also offer a remarkable view, at lunchtime and dinnertime.

Even in this case, we include a series of locations listed in alphabetical order, without any marks.

- Asola, Via Durini, 28 (+39.02.92853303)
The restaurant is on the ninth floor of the Brian&Barry Building, a department store with twelve floors dedicated to fashion and food, of which three are run by Eataly. In the kitchen there’s creative and original chef Matteo Torretta. The setting is fascinating thanks to the view of both Milan and the beautiful kitchen too. The average price is 80€

- Ceresio 7, Via Ceresio, 7 (+39.02.31039221)
This restaurant stands out both for the excellent cuisine of chef Elio Sironi and for the elegant setting. The terrace with two swimming pools, available for the guests who want to relax during the day and for the aperitif in the evening is beautiful, especially in the summer. The average price is 80€

- Globe, Piazza Cinque Giornate, 1 (+39.02.55181969)
On the eight floor of the building hosting Coin, it offers a remarkable view of the town, which one can appreciate even more when sitting in the veranda. The menu is very vast, and at lunchtime also includes fast recipes while in the evening it tends towards gourmand horizons. The average price is 50€

- Maio, Piazza Duomo at La Rinascente (+39.02.8852455)
We’re on the last floor of the Rinascente and the view here is truly unique, what with the windows and the terrace right in front of the pinnacles of Milan’s Cathedral. Not all tables, however, can enjoy a full view. The menu is focused on Italian recipes and designed mostly for international guests. The average price is 60€

- Priceless, Piazza della Scala, 4 (reservations through their website only)
Contrary to the other locations, this is a temporary restaurant opened by MasterCard during the six months of Expo on top of Palazzo Beltrami, in Piazza della Scala. 35 Italian and European chefs, members of the JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe) association, work in turns in the kitchen. There’s a set price of 250€ (only paid by credit card)

- Spazio, Piazza del Duomo c/o Mercato del Duomo (+39.02.878400)
The Niko Romito Formazione restaurant opened in Milan a few weeks ago on the last floor of Mercato del Duomo. The menu, handed to the students of the school guided by the great chef, is totally Italian and focused on raw materials. The average price is 50€

- Terrazza Triennale, Viale Alemagna, 6 (+39.02.36644340)
The beautiful view overlooking Parco Sempione is one of the benefits of this new restaurant in Milan. The rest of the merit goes to chef Stefano Cerveni, one Michelin star with his Due Colombe. There’s a lighter and faster menu at lunchtime and a more structured and refined one in the evening. The average price is 70€

- Unico, Via Achille Papa, 30 (+39.02.39261025)
It’s the only restaurant in this list to be far away from the centre, but it is also the tallest one, on the twentieth floor of the WJC skyscraper. Chef Felice Lo Basso took over after Fabio Baldassarre, who had conquered a Michelin star here. The cuisine is creative and refined. The average price is 80€ (tasting menus for 80€ and 120€)
