Host 2015 is about to begin at Fiera Milano, from 23rd till 27th October. Identità Golose will participate with a space of almost one thousand square metres, both with a restaurant and a conference area with technical presentations and great chefs: a new format called Identità Future

“Every two years, on odd years such as this one we’re living, 2015, Milan and Fiera di Rho welcome Host, a gigantic event dedicated to restaurant and hospitality equipment. All this is strongly researched, sound and projected into the future”. This is the incipit to the introduction written by Paolo Marchi in the newsletter sent a few hours ago telling for the first time – as we do on this website – about Identità Golose’s new prestigious partnership with Host and a new format we’ve designed and will be launched at Fiera Milano, Identità Future.

From Friday 23rd till Tuesday 27th October, Identità Future will be both a restaurant and a stage on which prestigious speakers will appear and tell about the novelties capable of influencing the daily work of chefs and pastry chefs. Machines and objects used in kitchens and laboratories, from pots to chillers from coffee machines to state of the art induction, will be the protagonists, together with glasses and professional dishwashers or ice cream machines from a very near future. All this within Host, a world-leading event in the field. It will occupy the entire exhibition area, as many as 14 pavilions, +2% compared to the 2013 edition with a +12% growth of occupied square metres. The historic record of exhibitors will also be beaten: there will be between 1,900 and 2K exhibitors, over one third of whom will be foreign.

Among the macro-areas: the Professional Restaurant area, with a focus on “Bread-Pasta-Pizza”, with two strongly growing niches such as “Laundry” and “Refrigeration”; in synergy with “Ice cream-Pastry making” there will also be the Coffee-Tea area with Sic (Salone Internazionale del Caffè), which this year also includes the “Vending” sector; the third macro-area dedicated to Furnishing and Table will be wider and renewed.

Numerous events are scheduled, over 400, what with workshops, seminars, tastings, cooking demos, shows and contests… And there will also be two awards established by HostMilano and Fiera Milano: HOSThinking, dedicated to innovative formats in future hospitality, and Smart Label, an award for the most sustainable products and services.

In the top 5 of the most represented countries, traditional strong markets such as Germany (+7,69%) and France (+22,22%) will be present as usual, with the return of Spain (+12,7%) and the strong growth of US firms (+22%). The top 5 is completed by Switzerland (+25%) to which one must add the numerous representatives of the most sparkling economies such as Middle East, Far East, China, India.

The over 1,500 profiled top buyers come from 60 countries and 5 continents, always with a balanced mix of historic and emerging markets. At least 135K professional visitors from all around the world are expected, with hundreds of registered journalists from international media.
