I Fontanili is located in a farmhouse on two floors surrounded by Parco del Ticino; it has many souls (restaurant, pizzeria, ice cream shop…) and serves a large number of people. They’ve recently introduced a gourmet restaurant which makes use of the large open-view grill. The format is similar to that of Victor Arguinzoniz at Asador Etxebarri, in the Basque Country; in other words, there’s the idea that cooking on the grill can reach the nobility of fine dining. There’s seafood, of course, but the forte of the restaurant is the large meat-based offer. There’s little one can say of the Black Angus Bavetta with black kale: it’s simply delicious…
