Trattoria del Nuovo Macello has been around since 1959. It’s a place dedicated not to Milanese tradition, but to the Italian one. Having reached its third generation, it has always remained current. Some of its classics are mandatory, such as Cotoletta or Risotto with saffron and Lodigiano riserva cheese. But innovative dishes like Risotto with pumpkin, grapefruit and capers are equally pleasing. There’s seafood too (from the nearby market), in recipes that enhance the ingredients.
