Sol Levante

Sol Levante is a tiny place by Hemmi Hikari, a kind Japanese lady. Until the summer of 2018 it stood out as an authentic sushi bar in a town where Japanese food had been “adapted” for the Milanese palate. That was already praise-worthy. Now their mission has changed, however: no more sushi, the time has come to create a kaiseki menu, the most authentic one in town. The mission is fully accomplished what with fabulous raw dishes and splendid cooked recipes. A memorable dish? Chirashi with king prawns, amberjack, calamari, salmon, tobiko and tamago.
