Paola Pacinotti and Rudi Reni, two successful professionals, chose an ancient fourteenth-century village in the Piacenza area as their buen retiro, but then they ended up following their passion for food, and a dream they had: an haute cuisine restaurant a few steps from their castle-home. They named it OR – Cucina d’Arte; to give new life to its kitchen as well, they hired two young talents, Mauro Brina and Davide Modesti. At OR, the dishes are things of passion. No fireworks, just a tasty selection with a good technique, some delicious dishes and a respect for their excellent ingredients.
