In the heart of the Sila there’s a renowned and heroic family of Calabrian restaurateurs who have always been working to enhance the rich products of this region: meat, cheese, eggs, potatoes and most of all mushrooms, especially porcini which are a must try thanks to Pietro Lecce’s work at his Tavernetta.

The generational turnover in the kitchen is soon to take place: young Emanuele has been handed the keys to the kitchen and shows he’s ready to repay the trust of his dad Pietro and his mum Denise, the kind patroness. There are many ideas for the future, as well as technical skills, enthusiasm and the desire to work hard.
