Mirta is a guarantee for everyone in Milan, because the food is always good but most of all because you always have a good time. They don’t accept reservations at lunchtime, when the menu is simpler, while in the evening it’s best to book in advance: it’s always full, 5 days a week (they’re closed at the weekend). The food is full of tradition, but don’t expect a strict respect of the “original” recipe. The variations on the theme are always seasonal, attentive, tasty and never influenced by trends, not even with regards to portions. The pasta is home-made, the same goes for bread and cakes, but if you want to honour the chef’s true passion, the main courses and meat will offer great satisfaction.
