Two years ago, tireless Enrico Bartolini conceived this restaurant as a casual retire from the Milanese spotlight. It’s in Bergamo Alta, close to the funicular cable that takes you to the beautiful San Vigilio. Here a very young resident chef gives life to an erudite yet simple style, with a very enjoyable approach. His name is Alex Manzoni. His dishes are a perfect interpretation of contemporary classics: like Roasted eel with onions and dill. The intense Risotto with oyster and smoked herring roe has a more complex interpretation: a dish entirely based on contrasts, in which anise acts as the trait d’union.
