The shadow of the 14th century Castle, where Ermes da Colloredo and later Ippolito Nievo lived, reaches the restaurant, but from the terrace you can enjoy a unique view. Inside, chef Ivan Bombieri presents recipes that make use of products form the local countryside and of the fish from the Adriatic Sea, sometimes in the same dish, which may seem unusual.
Garganelli de La Taverna, with shellfish from Istria, minted cream of courgettes, and reduced bisque are an example of this. Try the lamb in a 360° interpretation: chop, shoulder, leg and pâté served with potatoes and Asperum.
