Marc Lanteri al Castello di Grinzane Cavour

She’s from Colorado, in the US, and has the grace of a fully aware woman. He’s quieter, a real mountain guy from Tenda, so he’s French, but with Italian roots. Together they give life to the kitchen at Al Castello, inside the Grinzane Cavour castle.

And with such great results! There’s a fertile overall lightness, an inspired skill shaping never banal pairings, the desire to avoid any sort of copy of the French cuisine that would be so easy for Lanteri to handle. Instead, he’s successfully found a happier and more personal dimension, both substantial and elegant.
