All of a sudden, in Torino there’s a vegan chef who’s first of all an excellent cook. It took the austerity and stubbornness of Antonio Chiodi Latini to make proper vegetal cuisine available in the heart of the town.
A long but purposeful journey brought this strong-willed man to leave the hills where he had the classic place for banquets and move to a small and modern place among bourgeois buildings: here he makes dishes that make no use of meat, yet are full of flavours. Indeed there’s plenty of flavours thanks to the sauces, the use of frying, the chilli pepper, and the many vegetal ingredients that are full of character.
