La Gallina Scannata is a sort of All Star. Indeed, it’s a place that blends two gastronomic excellences from Torino: the first, is the cuisine of the nearby Scannabue, which is likely to be the most beloved and popular bistro in town; the second is the seafood supplied from Beppe Gallina, owner of the fishmonger-cum-restaurant named after him inside the market of Porta Palazzo.
He’s the best fishmonger in Torino. Scannabue and Gallina joined forces and that’s how La Gallina Scannata was born, a seafood osteria with a blue and white décor, overlooking the popular and trendy Largo Saluzzo. The seafood here is fun and sound.
