At Piccolo Lago, in Mergozzo, two-starred Marco Sacco doesn’t forget his past, which he delicately recalls with two menus that illustrate the history of his restaurant. At the same time, he doesn’t rest on his laurels, but proudly looks at the future with the 10 dishes in his menu called “Un sacco innovativo”.

And he continues his more and more successful battle in favour of freshwater fish. It doesn’t matter if it’s in the shape of the salmerino, or of other species that were not local, but became so, like siluro or gardon, now in the menu. After all, a good dose of pragmatism has always been part of Sacco’s brilliant career.
