In the centre of Vernante, for generations the Macarios have used their restaurant as a fortress of truth. There is no space for lies or fiction in their cuisine, because for years now they’ve worked on a hard and marvellous project: growing together with their valley, enhancing the value of a difficult territory, yet full of potential.
Mitto in the kitchen honours the great raw materials enhancing their beauty without betraying their true flavours. He’s helped by Fabio Ingallinera, a very skilled cook from Sicily, who was also charmed by Occitan cuisine.
