Right under the one-of-a-kind Bolognese portici is Berberè, with exposed vintage beams and a clear philosophy about pizza. Quality at any cost: take brothers Aloe’s word for it. Salvatore and Matteo claim they make a «pop» pizza, fancy in its flavors and prepared with healthy ingredients. It’s thick, soft inside but with a slightly crunchy feel at the bite. Among the specials, the one with Mora romagnola ham, roasted peppers tomatoes and parsley; or the one with speck, gorgonzola, walnuts, acacia honey, fiordilatte. Or the one with rolled pancetta, Roman pecorino and tomato.
