La Zanzara is a magic and iconic place. The restaurant, owned by the Bison family, is hidden between the branches of the Po’s Volano and the sea, very close to the seaside lidos. You will find in your plate the same landscape you admired while reaching the place: the food follows the territory, always using seasonal raw materials. So grilled eel, local shells (small clams and mussels, and queen scallops, which can serve as an amazing dip for a chunk of toasted bread)… There’s no shortage of fresh pasta, but above all a great freedom of expression outside any standard or definition.
