The Gasthaus Unterwirt is equipped with cozy lounges with an elegant South Tyrol décor and a beautiful patio overlooking the valley. The chef’s wife Cornelia Haselwanter, maître and sommelier, moves around the tables with grace and determination.
In the kitchen, Thomas Haselwanter performs a classical version of some revisited dishes, if we may dare the oxymoron. One quick look at the menu is enough to understand that the dishes are neatly conceived, with the belief that guests can only be won with the help of raw materials (no more than three for each dish) and an accurate execution.
