This name is no coincidence: this little town in the outskirts of Bolzano calls itself «astrovillage» and has developed a site-specific tourism devoted to the observation of the start. The restaurant is run by Gregor Eschgfäller in the kitchen and his wife Melanie in the dining hall, that’s been tastefully refurbished 3 years ago.
Despite his young age, the chef masters a lot of techniques and has a confident attitude: try the Creamed risotto with black garlic, clams and turmeric sauce; or the Seared Wagyu flank steak with Asian eggplant, barley and marinated egg yolk… v
