What a treat is to eat at Patrizia Di Benedetto and Antonio Barraco’s! Their Bye Bye Blues is a classic in Mondello, one of those unswerving places that are always a safe bet to recommend to a friend. We would also tell him: let them guide you in your order, but don’t miss the Red prawns carpaccio with squid and vegetables salad and bottarga mayonnaise; or the delicious Cuttlefish in three textures (as a gnocco, with an ink cous cous; seared; as a little ball, with broccolini and yellow and red peppers)… Or the Mupa steak with miso, almonds and some smoked, citrusy eggplants.
