Otto Geleng del Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo

In a symbiotic relationship with the Ancient theatre, the Belmond Grand Hotel Timeo is a luxury hotel and Otto Geleng (an homage to the German painter who in 1873 convinced the La Floresta family to open the hotel) is its gourmet extension with a breathtaking view. Chef Roberto Toro’s food is blunt and shows a strong personality, elevating the local ingredient to an international experience through full-bodied and impactful dishes. His signature dish is Otto di mare: eight different fish that represent the Sicilian sea, all cooked in different ways and then blended in a magnificent, juicy, condensed fish soup.
