Everything began with papà Antonino, whose english is so weird and funny that we might overlook his nickname One Fire. Above the restaurant entrance, the sign «La Torre One Fire»: Italians go to La Torre, foreigners go to One Fire, but it’s the same place.
If Antonino is still a young patron, his wife Maria Aprea is a chef full of flavors and absolutes. During the winter it’s better to check the hours, but as soon as the warm sun comes out, everyone sits on the terrace. Tradition, tradition, tradition: fried little pizzas, octopus with potatoes, a granny-style, tasty parmigiana, gnocchi alla sorrentina, paccheri with the sauce of sun-burnt tomatoes, mussels soup, catch of the day…
