Santa Maria la Carità is a small town a short distance from Pompeii’s archaeological site. Here you can find Gerani, Giovanni Sorrentino’s restaurant, a friendly place with simple food, based on the knowledge and the respect of the ingredients.
The dishes are based on the traditional vibrancy of Campania’s food, but the young chef knowingly develops these concepts. The menu changes frequently and follows the course of the seasons, therefore it’s tied to the availability of the raw materials, mainly retrieved from the family garden or local producers.
