Matera is the heart of the world in 2019, a year where it is celebrated as the European Capital of culture, the place where we would all like to go, charmed by one of the most ancient towns in the world. Dimora Ulmo tries to give a portrait of the bourgeois hospitality that makes the most intimate and unknown feature of the city of the Sassi.

Here they offer a modern cuisine, but strongly rooted in the tradition of Basilicata. Most ingredients are local. They are carefully selected and interpreted with the right dose of creativity: effective dishes, like Crapiata with codfish, Ciambotta with eggs or the extraordinary Lamb with wild chicory.
