Il Pagliaccio

Opened in 2003 by Anthony Genovese, it is perhaps the most international restaurant in Rome. Yet even though in the menu you’ll find traces of Genovese’s nomadic past, from West to East, Il Pagliaccio is today a great – though small in terms of spaces – Italian restaurant.

In his dishes, the chef blends inspirations and flavours from far away, creating fascinating journeys, with distant influences but always Mediterranean at heart. You’ll be charmed by the elegance and intensity of every dish: from the unforgettable Chargrilled Oyster with apple and camomile, to the Baozi with bone marrow in broth.
