This place has nothing to do with the classic Japanese restaurants that offer just mixed sushi and uramaki. Fukurou is one of those authentic places that really have a Japanese atmosphere. Here, every day, you can enjoy a rich and varied Japanese cuisine. It’s the typical izakaya, a mix between a trattoria and a ramen bar, where you can find traditional dishes paired with different drinks, wine, beer and sake. You can eat right at the counter, charmed by chef Yoshikazu Ninomiya who prepares the dishes right in front of the guests.
