A truly exceptional protagonist at Identità Expo for the section Cucine del Mondo: Gastón Acurio. The Peruvian chef is a real bigwig of world cuisine and gives his name to the legendary restaurant Astrid y Gastón. We cite the praise given to him by his fellow countryman Mario Vargas Llosa, Nobel Prize winner for Literature in 2010: «We live in a country with a lot of limits and defects. However in the hands of this man our cooking becomes one of the richest in the world. Nobody did so much for Peru».

Fine dining at Expo 2015 goes under the brand of Identità Golose thanks to Identità Expo, the event – created in collaboration with S. Pellegrino – which for six months will summon great Italian and international chefs to Milan for a unique, extremely elegant temporary restaurant. There will also be lessons, cooking shows, meetings, demonstrations...
