Francesco Apreda is the protagonist this week of Italian & International Best Chefs, the best chefs cooking at Identità Expo, and of the lecture open to the public today at 4.00 pm always in the Identità Expo building.
Born in Naples in 1974 Apreda was only 19 when he started working at the Hotel Hassler in Rome. However, he is eager to make experiences abroad: in London at Le Gavroche, at the Ibla and at the Green Olive. Five years later the Hassler calls him back to Rome. Today, after earning one Michelin star in 2009, he is the successful chef of the restaurant Imàgo at the hotel Hassler. All this thanks to a style linked to tradition even though extremely creative, mainly as regards cooking techniques and assembly.
Fine dining at Expo 2015 goes under the brand of Identità Golose thanks to Identità Expo, the event – created in collaboration with S. Pellegrino – which for six months will summon great Italian and international chefs to Milan for a unique, extremely elegant temporary restaurant. There will also be lessons, cooking shows, meetings, demonstrations... All this animating a rich programme of events (soon online), the result of the organisational effort and prestige of Identità Golose.
