Antonio Civita of the Panino Giusto is today’s protagonist of Identità Milano, the event of Identità Expo focusing on the regional capital of Lombardy and his protagonists in the restaurant industry.
26 meetings have been scheduled on Thursday afternoon to recount the city from an unusual perspective: the protagonists – not only chefs - of the culinary activities will follow one another on stage and the city will be pictured according to a particular nuance reflecting what guests want to tell.
Civita, born in Rome, has been managing director of the Panino Giusto since 2010 when together with his wife Elena Riva, today chairman of the company, took over the restaurants that since 1979 has charmed all lovers of sandwiches in Milan (and not only). Today Panino Giusto counts 15 restaurants in town and the hinterland, 4 in the rest of Italy, 4 in Japan, one in Hong Kong and one in London. Over time this brand became synonym of a tasty combination of the values of tradition and innovation with restaurants where customers are welcomed in a familiar even though refined setting."
Fine dining at Expo 2015 goes under the brand of Identità Golose thanks to Identità Expo, the event – created in collaboration with S. Pellegrino – which for six months will summon great Italian and international chefs to Milan for a unique, extremely elegant temporary restaurant. There will also be lessons, cooking shows, meetings, demonstrations... All this animating a rich programme of events (soon online), the result of the organisational effort and prestige of Identità Golose.
