A bartender from Como, "Ago" leaves for London in 2003 in search of an international career experience. His will become the most awarded career in international mixology. Perrone has revolutionised the world of hotel bars, pairing a five-star-service with the creativity and innovation that over a decade ago one would only find in independent cocktail bars. At Connaught Bar, which he runs since it reopened in 2008, he refined the concept of “an elegant experience of drinking”, Connaught Bar's winning feature. Starting from tradition, both in the classic British style of the hotel in Mayfair, and in the innate sense of hospitality and taste that he gets from Italy, Agostino's style includes mixes that tell stories and lives, that put the client at the centre of the tasting experience and aim to leave a memorable mark through details and unusual communications. He received many awards: World’s Best Bartender at Tales of The Cocktail 2010 or Bar Personality of the Year at Imbibe Awards 2017, are some of the many awards. Today Perrone is one of the most influential people in the bar industry, as well as an icon of Italian style and hospitality in the world.

Giorgio Bargiani, head mixologist
Giorgio started to work in the restaurant of a historic osteria in Pisa. During and after his university studies, he started his journey in Tuscan bars and arrived at luxury hotellerie at Splendido di Portofino and then at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison in Oxford. He arrived at the much sought-after Connaught Bar in London under his mentor Ago Perrone in 2014, standing out right away thanks to charisma and determination. Led by his creative and communicative spirit, Giorgio quickly becomes the right arm of Perrone and is later promoted to head mixologist in late 2018. At Connaught Bar the Perrone-Bargiani duo never stops launching new creations and projects, but always remaining faithful to the identity of the bar and the concept of hospitality. Giorgio, one of the most innovative and quickly growing bartenders in global mixology, made the prestigious 30 Under 30 list in Code Hospitality in 2019.
