Matteo Bruno Lunelli is the president and general manager of Cantine Ferrari, founded in 1902 and leader in Italy for bottle-fermented bubbles, and president at Surgiva, the mineral water that stands out thanks to its lightness and exclusivity, as it’s only distributed in fine dining restaurants.

He’s also the vice-president and general manager at Lunelli S.p.A., the holding of the family group to which belong, on top of Ferrari andSurgiva, distillery SegnanaTenute Lunelli, producing wines in Trentino, Tuscany and Umbria and Bisol, a point of reference for Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene. After the Lunelligroup bought the winery, Matteo became Bisol’s vice-president.

Born in 1974, a graduate from Bocconi, married with two children, before becoming a part of the family group he acquired experience abroad, working for five years in a team of financial consultants for American investment bank Goldman Sachs, in Zurich, New York and London.

A strong supporter of Made in Italy, he’s the vice-president responsible for the food industry at Fondazione Altagamma. Formed by enterprises in the Italian cultural and creative industries, its goal is to create synergies between important Italian brands and to make them more competitive, contributing to the economic growth of Italy.

An art lover, he’s the vice-president of Mart, the Museum of modern and contemporary art of Trento and Rovereto. He’s also in the board of the Coster Tecnologie Speciali, a leading group in the packaging industry, with a turnover of over 150 million euros.

An active member of Confindustria, he’s been the president of the Giovani Industriali del Trentino-Alto Adige between 2011 and 2013.

He’s been the president of The International Wine & Spirits Competition in London (IWSC) in 2016, a role reserved to prominent people in the wine and spirits industries.

He received important awards like the E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 in the Family Business category.
