Roberta Garibaldi

 

She is a professor of Tourism Management and Marketing at the University of Bergamo. She is engaged in training, consultancy, and research activities for the promotion of territories, food and wine tourism, and cultural tourism. She directs internationally applied projects and has worked with multiple Ministries of Tourism and international organizations, including UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) and FAO.

She served as CEO of ENIT – the Italian National Tourist Board during the Draghi government and was Vice President of the OECD Tourism Commission (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development). She is a keynote speaker at major international events on tourism.

She holds numerous positions at both national and international levels, including President of the Italian Association of Food and Wine Tourism. She is the author of 23 books, over 60 scientific publications, and 11 editions of the Report on Food and Wine Tourism.

She has been awarded the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
