Useful, convenient, free: Identità Golose's guide is now also available as an App

Claudio Ceroni had announced it on the 18th of March, when presenting the 14th edition of the Guida ai ristoranti di Identità Golose: «In mid-April we'll launch a special app – on top of the online guide – which will further broaden our audience, that was already conquered by our choice of going digital». The day has come at last: you can now download the App of the Guide both from the Apple App Store, and the Google Play Store for Android users.

The app is designed to be light, functional, intuitive, and offers all the content available on the website for free. A choice that follows the one made for Expo Milano 2015, when the work of a team of almost 100 contributors, guided by editor in chief Gabriele Zanatta and director Paolo Marchi, was made available entirely online. 

«Our commitment - Marchi and Ceroni agree – doesn't stop: we wanted to do something more by creating a free app to offer an even more dynamic, agile and dynamic user experience, safeguarding all the original and rich content that users have been able to appreciate to this day. Since 2015 the guide is a digital product, which you can browse only online. A turning point that meant opening to the future, at the time, and speaking to a growing audience, and updating the content in real time. Now that restaurants are about to open again, we wanted to create a tool that we are sure will help guide and whet the appetite of the audience, so that they can discover a world of talents and professionals who are always ready to say something extra and new. We hope they will all be able to return to express themselves as soon as possible, and charm us».

From the Storie di Gola to the awards to the Young Stars, and the medals from the past editions, and of course the reviews of over 800 restaurants, for now almost only in Italy (but we'll soon return to offer our international content too, as soon as travelling will be possible): nothing is missing in the App, which, thanks to its geolocalization function also allows you to find a food destination where you need it. 

Of course, we'll need to be able to move freely to make better use of this tool, which will become a precious ally always at your side, like when we kept the (more or less "red"...) guide in the glove compartment of the car: this is the goal of Identità Golose. It aims to contribute to the rebirth of an industry to which our team has been fully committed since the very first edition of the congress.

We have chosen to offer the work of a large team of professionals for free, to support the re-start of a crucial supply chain that goes from food production to restaurants, from hospitality to tourism and the promotion of territories. Just like we did last month, presenting the 14th edition of the Guida di Identità Golose, we want to do our best to contribute to this re-birth and offer an efficient and complete tool to a growing audience».

So, just like with the website, the content of the App will be constantly updated, and will be enriched with new reviews over the next few months. A large part of the world that we're interested in and charmed about passes through a smartphone: the icon of the Guide will be a precious addition to our screen, so that we can enjoy once again, as soon as possible, the pleasures of fine dining.
