The Bollicine del Mondo app triumphs at the Wine Travel Awards

It's official: the Identità Golose's Bollicine del Mondo Guide App has won the People Choice 2023 award from the Wine Travel Awards, an authoritative project in the field of wine and tourism that organises meetings at the world's most prestigious wine events.

In this case, the award ceremony took place at the London Wine Fair on the 17th of May and the mention of the award is 'Ambassador Creative Strategy Project'. The award was handed to Cinzia Benzi, co-creator and coordinator of the Guide, for a project dedicated to the world's sparkling wines at an international level.

A digital guide developed through a free App ideal for travelling, born in 2022, and which in a few days will see the birth of an English version as well as many new features.

"I’m honoured by this great recognition for a work that sees me in the role of author and coordinator, but it would not be possible without a team of experts that I am happy to name in strictly alphabetical order: Giovanna Abrami, Monica Coluccia, Meritxell Falgueras, Raffaele Foglia, Elio Ghisalberti, Manlio Giustiniani, Adele Granieri, Andrea Grignaffini, Stefania Oggioni, Bruno Petronilli, Alessio Pietrobattista, Luca Torretta and Luca Turner.

This guide is the brainchild of Cinzia Benzi and Paolo Marchi, shared first and foremost with their expert friend Andrea Grignaffini and supported by the enlightened entrepreneurial spirit of Claudio Ceroni. On 7th June at 11.00 a.m., Teatro Manzoni in Milan will be the place where we will present the 2023 edition, enriched by personalities from all over the world. "With this App," Cinzia concludes, "we want to take our readers on a journey through a map of wineries and labels. Our goal is to reach, by 2026, 1,000 useful addresses for travelling the world through bubbles that we must taste at least once in a lifetime. No grades, no rankings or priorities: the blazons are present as well as the young emerging ones, with signed reviews, zero anonymity. Lots of territorial insights and an invisible ingredient called passion for our work, an overused but meaningful term for us at Bollicine del Mondo.
