The protagonists of the eighth edition of Identità New York (10-12 October 2017): left to right, clockwise: Slovenian Ana Roš, Caterina Ceraudo, Bobo Cerea, Virgilio Martinez, Eric Ripert, Massimo Bottura, Corrado Scaglione
Right after Chicago (7-8 October) and before Boston (13 October), Eataly Flatiron, in Manhattan, will once again host Identità New York (10-12 October), the mother of all our events in the United States, now in its eighth edition. While in Illinois the focus will be on pasta and pizza, in the Atlantic megalopolis there’s a different score: «We start from the theme of the last edition, ‘Don’t waste the planet’», explains Paolo Marchi, «which is always current given the new policies in the US, looking for the best in terms of debate, new ideas, solidarity. But we will develop this enriching it with a further sub-theme, ‘the truth in the dish’ because the foundations of intellectual work and research find their ultimate reason, their real value at the moment of service». The protagonists are of the highest standards, starting from Massimo Bottura, the only one to have participated in 8 events out of 8 in the shade of Flatiron, an epic during which he held lectures with world cuisine giants such as Daniel Humm and Alain Ducasse.
