They don’t do so to catch the cook’s mistakes, but to be able to work serenely. They are Michelin employees like me, but while I’m just very passionate about food, they are very competent".

Everything’s ready for the presentation of the 64th edition of the 2019 Guida Michelin Italia, the third in a row in Parma. A few numbers: in 2018 there were starred 356 restaurants: 9 with 3 stars, 41 with 2 and 306 with one. Is the total number going to increase this year?  Are we going to have a 10th restaurant with 3 stars? For now, there’s only one information available on the 2019 Guide: there are 21 new Bib Gourmands in 2019, a total of 257 restaurants.
